DIAL 'M' FOR MURDER
by Frederick Knott
Tony Wendice wants revenge on his cheating wife, Margot. She insisted that he give up playing his career as a professional tennis player, so they could enjoy their marriage. Unfortunately, for both of them, Tony retired too late, and discovered that his wife has been having an affair. He devises an intricate plot to take his revenge, playing with her fate and coming up with the perfect murder. Full of twists and turns that keep the audience guessing.
This classic mystery/thriller opened on Broadway in 1952 and ran over 500 performances. It was made into the 1954 movie by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly, and also remade in 1998 as "A Perfect Murder" starring Michael Douglas and Gwyneth Paltrow.
