NOISES OFF
by Michael Frayn
It's a classic play within a play; or rather a farce within a farce. Lloyd Fellowes is the director of a theatre company. The audiences watches the production from final rehersals, through opening night, and onto the tour: as with any group of actors forced to work closely together for any great length of time, romances and arguments are bound to break out. Quite often, what's happening on stage is nothing compared to what's happening backstage!
The hysterical comedy/farce opened on Broadway in 1983 starring Victor Garber and Dorothy Loudon and ran over 500 performances. It was revived in 2001 with Peter Gallagher and Patti LuPone. The movie made in 1992 had an all-star cast including Michael Caine, Carol Burnett, Christopher Reeve, John Ritter, Marylou Henner, Julie Hagerty, and Mark Linn-Baker.
THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT, THE SMELL OF THE CROWD
by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley
Written by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley, this lively, humorous musical revolves around adversaries named "Cocky" and "Sir", who are caricatures of their social condition, and at odds in every way.
The musical/comedy opened on Broadway in 1965 and ran for over 200 performances. The magical show includes hit songs Look At That Face, A Wonderful Day Like Today, Who Can I Turn To?, The Joker, My Way, Nothing Can Stop Me Now, and Where Would You Be Without Me. The songs have been made famous by Tony Bennett, Lena Horne, Johnny Mathis, Sammy Davis, Jr., Shirley Bassey, and others.
BELL, BOOK, & CANDLE
by John Van Druten
The magical love story unfolds in Gillian Holroyd's apartment during the Christmas season. Living above Gillian is the handsome Shep Henderson, who is engaged to be married. With the help of her coniving brother Nicky and her dotty Aunt Queenie she develops an enormous desire to win Shep's heart, eventually by casting a spell on him to make him fall madly in love with her. When Shep finds out he's been duped, he goes to Gillian's nemesis to remove the spell. Will the bewitched pair ever find true love? Through comedy and romance we take a fun and enjoyable ride with a cast of truly unique characters.
This 1950's Romantic comedy led to the 1958 Jimmy Stewart/Kim Novack movie which also inspired the television series "Bewitched".

Kris Kringle is the personification of good will and holiday spirit. As the Macy's holiday Santa, he enchants children and shoppers so completely that his claim to be the real Santa Clause is deemed dangerous by fellow employees who question his competency and plot to ruin him. A small girl's belief in Santa Claus and the magic of the holiday is at stake in a climactic courtroom decision.
This is a hilarious, tender, and charming show for the entire family as a Christmas classic. The staged version was originally produced by the New York State Theatre Institute. The 1947 movie starring Natalie Wood won 3 Academy Awards. The movie was remade again in 1994 starring Mara Wilson.
OLIVER! [June 5 - June 14]

This is the one of the most beloved British musicals, vividly bringing to life Charles Dickens’ timeless characters from his ever-popular novel "Oliver Twist" about an orphan boy who asked for more.

It's an emotional story that engages the audience with comedy and drama, while delighting everyone with memorable musical numbers including "Food, Glorious Food", "I'd Do Anything", "Consider Yourself", "As Long As He Needs Me", "Who Will Buy?", and "Reviewing the Situation".
THE SUNSHINE BOYS [Aug 6 - Aug 9]
by Neil Simon
Al Lewis and Willie Clark played vaudeville as a team for 43 years, but squabbling and animosity has kept them far apart for the last decade. Now CBS wants them to appear in a television tribute to their comedy. Despite their differences, the odd couple's reunion sparks delirious comedy, with all the verbal wit and hilarity we have come to expect from the beloved Neil Simon.
The 1975 movie starred Walter Matthau and George Burns and gave Matthau an Academy Award nomination, while winning Burns his only Oscar. The show was most recently portrayed by television's "The Odd Couple" alumni Jack Klugman and Tony Randall in the 1998 Broadway revival.
